KVC 4 Piston Type Actuator

The KVC 4 Piston type Actuator has four small cylinders, each located on one of the four sides of the cube. The smaller pinion and shorter travel distance of the pistons in the COMPACT require less air pressure than a larger double piston actuator to produce the same torque output. The end result is faster response times for emergency shutdown, lower air pressure for operation, and reduced maintenance.

Description

KVC 4 Piston Type Actuator

Rack and pinion actuators form part of the linear actuation range that converts linear motion to rotary which enables the on/off and application control of quarter turn ball, butterfly, and ball valves. This rotary action is achieved through the use of double integral pistons and racks that drive the connecting pinion.

pneumatic quarter turn valve actuators are suitable for the automation of butterfly valves and ball valves offering a modular and compact design. Customizable spring variations allow for accurate calibration and torque output as well as spring return and double-acting in-field Interchangeability
