Pressure Sustaining Valve

Pressure Sustaining Valve

Spec Sheet: P20 Direct Acting Pressure Sustaining Valve

Back Pressure Regulator Valve, also known as a Back Pressure Valve, is a device that maintains a defined pressure upstream of itself (at its own inlet).

A Direct Acting Back Pressure Regulator Valve is an automatic, direct active-controlled valve that is activated by the pressure of the pipeline. The valve will maintain a steady, predetermined pressure at upstream of a pipeline.

The valve gate is normally closed.  Gate will open once the upstream pressure exceeds the required set-point, thus reducing its upstream pressure. Gate will resume close position once upstream pressure falls below the set-point.
